2. Write down what you know and don't know.
3.Look at the answer and see if your answers were right and if your answers weren't right then keep trying.

Holiday Highlight

Do you like camp? Well on the first week of the holidays we went on a bus to Willow Park. We went to Willow park for camp. Haare Mrs Hamilton and Mr Burt were the bosses.

When we got there we had to sit on any table. The first two names the Mr  Burt called out were our group leaders, The other six that got called out were the kids in the groups. When we were in our groups we had to take our bags to our cabin.

When we were finished getting our bags up we had to make our bed then go back down stairs to the dining room. As we got in the dining room we had to pick our table. For lunch we had Pies, Salad and chips. When we were finished we went to the beach for the first activity.

Before we went to the beach our teams had to pick a paper out of a hat so we knew what to build. Our team had to build a warship in the sand with two buckets and two shovels.

We did night activities like a crunchie hunt and spot light. My favourite activity was spot light because we used glow sticks. When we got caught we had to give the leaders our glow sticks, and if we got to the end we got a cross.

I think that it was really fun because some of my friends were in my group, And our leaders we nice.

Today in class we have been doing creative writing. We had to write a sentence about this picture. As a class we chose the sentence we liked to best and then added to it. Here is my sentence and the sentence I added to.

Under the oak tree,kicked back by the beach from a view,chill going down your spine, the bright sun light  on you.

Sperm Whale

A sperm whales blow hole is at the top so when they come to the top of the water they won't have to turn around and blow it out. Sperm whales can live for more than 60 years. Sperm whales can breathe oxygen under water.

Use my brain, Use my heart, I’m going to be cybersmart was made up by Mr Burt. Mr Burt made it up for our korero in the school assembly.

Use my brain means to use your brain when your going to do something. Always check  before you go on the website. Never do anything  your not supposed to do.

if someone is asking you to do a bad thing with them use your heart. Never go with someone if they're going to do something bad. Tell them to stop.

Be good when you're on the  computer. Never say bad things to people. Don’t do the wrong thing.

If you can use your brain and use your heart you can be cybersmart online. This can help you in real life and online. Be nice to other people and you will have a better life.

Mutton Birding

For my reading activity we had to do what its like in 100 years in the past present and the future and imagine what we had to use.

On The Island

In reading my reading group have been reading a book called on the island. In the book there is a family that goes hunting for mutton bird. You have to be related to the maori people from Stewart Island.
