Kelly Tarltons Recount

Have you been to Kelly Tarltons? Well my class had a great time because on Monday  Team 4 went to Kelly Tarlton’s it was a blast. So lets carry on with the story it was a fabulous trip we also went there because our parents payed lots of money for us to go to Kelly Tarlton’s and for the ride on the bus so that was so cool.

The thing we explored first was the tunnel. It was a fantastic ride and by the way it keeps on turning around and around and it nearly made me dizzy.Also it was underground and that was the other cool bit about it.

The next thing we did was went to see the penguins, they were gentoo and king penguins. The king penguins looked a bit like the emperor penguin but the king penguins were the second tallest penguin, the emperor has yellow feathers on their neck so that is how we could tell what kind of animals they are. After that we went in a classroom and we saw a lady, a kind and lovely lady she was waiting for us to go in the classroom, so when we got in the classroom we saw her and she told us that  her name was Janice that is also a pretty name so she told us lots of thing about scott base and Antarctica.

The thing we done last is that after we went outside of the classroom we went in the cafeteria and we had to chose an animal to research about and I chose Sharks and stingRays. It was also cool because me and my friend Tyah doe the same as me so that was cool.

The trip was cool it was the bestest trip I went to out of all of my schools that is why it is the coolest. I also felt like I was having an Antarctic adventure, if it was an adventure It would've been the coolest  adventure ever. P.S I want to go to Kelly Tarlton’s everyday:)

Kelly Tarltons

Today the year 5 & 6 were going on a trip to Kelly Tarltons. When we got to school Mrs Ouano opened the classroom for us to get everything we needed for our chromebooks. We got our chrome book covers to keep our chromebooks safe. My groups parent helper was Rituas uncle jollem. The people in that group are me, Ritua, Quinlan, Tevita, Henry. Well we were at Kelly Tarlton's we saw animals that live in Antarctica.There were Emperor penguins and Adelie penguins. Our group and the rest of the groups went on a ride with animals on the roof. The ride went in a circle but it was slow so we could see the animals that were on the roof. some of the penguins were of the penguins were swimming in the freezing water. We walked past a bucket of cold water that the penguins swim in. Its so cool at Kelly Tarltons.

My Story Starter

Prompt:Write a funny story about very greedy princess who eats muffins all day.

One sunny morning there was a very greedy princess called Rosie  and she loved to eat muffins all day. Every day when she woke up and had breakfast she would have muffins.

Rosie had 10 muffins for breakfast,lunch and tea. She ate 30 a day because she was always very hungry. If Rosie didn’t eat a lot of muffins then she wouldn’t be so fat.

The problem was that Rosie delivered 30 muffins for her self. She ate too much muffins.But the person at the shop was very sick so he couldn’t deliver the muffins to Rosie.

Rosie was trying to make muffins but she couldn’t because she kept on missing stuff out. So Rosie ask her mum and she said no because she was in her bed sick.

The next day Rosie ordered 30 muffins then the man who makes the muffins was sick so he got another man called Calvin. He loved to make muffins. Calvin made a little bit too much he made 100 muffins.He left 70 at the shop for the next person.

Charlie leaned back on his chair and Otto tried to do it is well and fell off his chair. Otto wasn't the only green one because the green paint spilt on Charlie. He didn’t like that. Charlie got very cross and he tried to scare Otto. He told him that there was a bear in the heads office.

This is a chapter about a little boy who is from out of space. His name is Otto and  he had never been to a earth school before. Mrs Underwood said here he is he was the same as all the other children in the class but he was a different colour he was green.

Mrs Underwood said sit down and be a dear and Otto got confused. He thought that he had to be a animal. So he said “I can’t a dear but i can Quack like a duck quack quack quack Charlie join in with me quack quack”.

Charlie Mrs Underwood said come here don’t do that. Poor Charlie got in trouble because he copied Otto. Carlie didn’t like Otto anymore. He didn’t like Otto not even a little bit.

Antarctica Writting

One cold day there were two men they were researchers. Did you know that researchers live in Antarctica? Their names were Neo and Calvin. They research about Antarctic animals. When it is night time they go to bed and then when they wake up they have to go right to work so that is really sad because they will be freezing cold.

The problem was that Neo and Calvin wanted to go back home because they have finished work and they were really tired. Did you know where they live “Scott base” really cool right. Scott base is really cool because they get to see lots of animals like Emperor Penguins,Leopard seals,Adelie Penguins,Elephant Seals and whales too.

When they were looking for a way to get home and they found a igloo right on the ice so they went inside and it was cold. Then Calvin and Neo thought about something then suddenly Calvin came up with the goodest idea ever he said to Neo we should stay here in the igloo for the night to sleep and then we will wake up and go straight to work.

When they got up it was morning and Neo said that he had a great sleep and Calvin said me too.

My Favorite Arctic Animals

These are my favorite animals from the Arctic.They are my favorite animals because they are furry.Polar bears  mostly eat seals. They also eat Arctic foxes, reindeer, rodents, musk ox, fish, shellfish, eggs and seabirds such as gulls. Polar bears swim with their heads out of the water.

Did you know that in the Arctic there are Northern lights. Some times in Antarctica there are northern lights too. These are some pictures of Northern lights.

A long time ago the people in the Arctic were called Eskimos. the Eskimos lived in igloos. Antarctica only has six types of Animals.

The Antarctic and the Arctic are the same because they both have animals. But they are very different because the Arctic has Owls and Caribous and the Antarctic has penguins. They can both be the same because they both have icebergs and water also because it is cold.

Antarctic Seals

Today room fourteen has been learning about Antarctic Seals. We learnt six facts about them. One of them the facts that we learnt was when the sea freezes over other seals go to warmer parts of the southern oceans.

This is a story about a bully who was a girl who was a bully. Her name was Rosie. When ever someone was drawing next to her she would scribbled on there drawing.

My Favourite Singer

Ms Eadie's Puppy

Today May Quinlan and myself were in Ms Eadie's room. She asked us if we could look after her puppy we all said sure we will. After we said yes Ms Eadie said thank you girls. She said that we had to go to her class tomorrow and she said she would give us three a little prize.

Netball

Yesterday my netball team had netball training. We played with the team 1 Angels. they played very good. Some of the people in the team 1 Angels are in my class this year. The people in my team are Antonia,May,Quinlan ,Ashley,Raewen,Ava,Marilyn,kaitlyne and me Alizhay. There are nine girls in my netball team. Last Thursday my netball team drew 3 with a hard team but we all had fun when we were playing with the other team.

Whales

Today room fourteen were learning about whales and we learnt stuff like a female is called a cow. A male 

is called a bull and the baby's are called calf's. We also learnt a lot of other things.

my Favourite type of whale is the Killer whale. I like killer whales because they look pretty in the water when they swim.Also when they are out of the water to.
