My Holiday Highlight

Do you like shopping? Last Thursday my mum and I  went to Sylvia Park to buy presents for dads birthday.

First we went to the warehouse and got my dad a cow onesie. Than  we went to buy some new shoes. After that we went to the food court for lunch.

For lunch we had sushi because my mum wanted to have it. When we had finished our lunch we went to paper plus to get some books for me and my brother.

Spending time with my family at Sylvia Park was fun.

Sunk By A Whale

In 1820 there was a ship called the Essex. It was a whaling ship that they used to hunt whales. When they were hunting the whales they were around the pacific oceans.

There was a 32 meter whale that they tried to hunt. He was a white whale called Moby Dick. The people on the ship wanted to kill him, but Moby Dick swam past and hit their boat with his head two times. So the boat sunk quickly with only 20 survivors.

They were on the boat for three months with no food and drinks. The crew were so hungry and thirsty and they couldn’t drink the sea water because they would get sick, They didn’t want to starve so they shot the youngest one and ate him his name was Owen Coffin.
