What is culture?

We have been learning about culture. Mrs Jacobsen read us paragraphs about culture and we wrote what we remebered.


What Is Culture?

Culture is where you come from and how you speak your . Every culture has there own way of dancing and singing. Every culture eat different food than other cultures.   

Different countries have different cultures. In Japan the old people wear kimonos, arrange flowers and have tea ceremonies.

What Is The Difference Between Nz and Korean Schools?



The difference between a New Zealand school and a Korean school is that they don't have grass and New Zealand schools do.

Commonwealth Sport

What Is Netball?
Netball is a sport when two teams verse each other. When you have the ball you have to pass the ball to your goal and shoot. Who ever gets the most goals in the game wins

What Equipment You Need?
For netball you need a ball to pass it down to the goal. You will also need bibs and uniforms to wear. You need some running shoes to run around in.

How To Play?
If you want to netball you need to practice every day. You have to have seven players because there are seven positions on the court.The ball must go in to the hoop or else you will not win.

What Are The Rules?

The rules of net ball is that you can’t run with the ball. You can’t hit the ball out of someones hand because that would be contact. Obstruction is when your trying to defend but your to close.

1. 20cm + 20cm = 40cm 
2. Double 20cm = 40cm
3. Half of 40cm = 20cm

Commonwealth Games


This year was the Commonwealth for 2014. Did you know that 71 countries competed this year?
In our class we have to pick a country and you get three questions about it, I picked Australia and answered all of the questions in this presentation.

  1. What does Miss Sami want the team to learn? Why? She wanted them to learn how to work as a team.

  1. Why is Ina nervous? Ina was nervous because she was new.

  1. How do the supporters of the other team feel when a goal is scored? The supporters were happy and they whooped.

  1. What was the score after the first quarter? The score was 1, 0 .

  1. How does Lucy feel about Ina’s goal at the end of the second quarter? Lucy felt sad that she didn’t share the ball.

I think that ina will start listening to lucy and share.
